retro photo month :: day nine

My first sister was born less than three years after me, and our relationship has always been tumultuous. We’re a perfect example of sibling rivalry, I think, although our interests have never been a common factor. It’s more about gaining attention than anything else, and it’s tainted our relationship throughout our entire lives. Thankfully, in the past few years we’ve finally been able to develop a more amiable friendship, and that is truly a hard-won victory for both of us. Still, since the very beginning, my sister has been the one person I loved so much that I simply wanted to strangle her most all the time. 😀
