I’m not typically a multi-book reader either, but I’ve found that I can read a non-fiction book at the same time as fiction simply because non-fic doesn’t keep me engaged as long and I want the break.

I have always been drawn to this series cover art, but I have never read the books. This is because that time period is not one I normally enjoy. I would suggest that if there was enough about the books that you liked and you are not adverse to reading out of order then pick up a later one int he series to get a feeling for how it went. i say this because for myself I often find I like the first book in a series the least.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I’m looking forward to reading Baldacci’s Robie series, and actually heard about THE HIT first, which is what interested me in the series. But, of course, one can’t read book #2 in a series before reading the first, can one?

I really enjoyed The Innocent. The second book, The Hit, just came out a couple weeks ago… I didn’t think it was quite as good as the first, though still good. Baldacci is usually pretty entertaining.

I hope you had a good birthday. I love what you’ve sad about how at your lowest points you feel you have gone back to being 16, that sums it up really well and I definitely feel that way when I am low, that I am back to being younger.
